worship ministries

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

Over the years, Paxton Covenant Church has evolved into a congregation that has embraced a blended worship format. In a typical worship service, you'll hear the organ played, you'll see a praise team that includes drums, bass and keyboard and singers of all ages, and you'll hear the Bible read, prayers prayed, and a Spirit filled message.  We believe that all of this has integrity for worshipers that comprise an age range of eight decades.
We offer communion on the first Sunday of the month and take the sacrament seriously. We take a few extra minutes during the greeting time because our people take fellowship seriously. We do our best to offer variety in worship and appreciate that a dozen different people read scripture and another dozen are in our praise team singing rotation.
We teach the Bible - You WILL hear the Word of God preached from the pulpit.  Mostly, this will be accomplished through a study of a book of the Bible or through a study of the life of God's people.
During the school year, we worship at 10:45 a.m. and usually from Memorial Day through Labor Day we worship at 9:30 a.m. Please join us.
